It's June!

Hello!

Hope you all had a fantastic Memorial Day Weekend! It's a short week so let's get some workouts in so that we can get back to the beach on Saturday!

Schedule for this week:

I am starting a 3 Week Mini-Intensive on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so the schedule will be modified a bit. Here's the schedule for regular Group Sessions for this week:

Thursday & Friday 10am
Saturday 8am

I will post soon with more info and dates for the Mom camp, as I sort out my own summer plans. As usual, tell your friends and have them come by to try a free session.

Last Week of May & Summer Plans

Summer is fast approaching, so let's make sure to get some more workouts in so that we are ready for the beach!

Schedule this week: (All Sessions at Aviation Track - Man Bch Blvd & Aviation in Redondo Beach)

Group Core Sessions - All Levels
Tuesday: 9:30a
Thursday: 9:30a
Friday: 10a
Saturday: 8a (need a min of 4 persons to run this class)

6 Week Intensive - Session Full
Wed & Friday 9a

Mini- Intensive:

I'd like to start the 3 week mini-intensive next week June 1st. Session times would be Tuesday 9:30a and Thursday 9a (Thurs needs to start earlier so I can still run a regular session at 10a). So, please let me know this week, if you would like to join. We need a minimum of 4 persons to run the session (6 max). Participants need to have taken at least 1 class prior to the Mini-Intensive.

Summer Sessions & Summer Mom Camp:

Summer Sessions:
With schedules changing for Summer break , I wanted to re-confirm session timeframes. Based on discussions with some of you, 9:30a is the earliest time midweek (M-F) for workout sessions in the summer. So I will set weekly schedules based on this info.

I am also considering getting sitters to meet us at the field to help watch our kids while we workout. Ideally we would get 1-2 sitters and pay $1 to $2/child directly to the sitter. Let me know if you are interested in sharing a sitter.

Summer Mom Camp:
I'd like to run 2-4 Mom Camps this summer. The "Camp" would be 1 week (5 days), 1 hour/day. The Camp would include 2 Days of our Barbfit Group Core Sessions, 1 Running Clinic/Analysis, 1 Cardio/Boot Camp & 1 Beg Yoga session. The cost for the 1 week camp would be $50 ($10/day) We would need a min of 5 persons to set this up. Let me know if this is something you would like to do. Dates and Times TBD.

Session Added Saturday 5/22 8 am

Hello,

Just wanted you all to know that I just added a session on Saturday, 5/22/10, at 8am. We will meet at the same spot on Aviation Field in Redondo (Manhattan Beach Blvd & Aviation). If you only made it to one session this week, come on out for another. Or bring a friend for their first session.

This Week and the Mini-Intensive

Hello,

Just flew back in tonight from cold and rainy San Francisco to cold and rainy LA??? Whaaat?? Hope you all are bearing with the weather. So let's get our minds off the elements by participating in a few good workouts this week!

Group Core Sessions (All Levels)
Tuesday - No Session (sorry for the late notice but 18 mo old is under the weather)
Thursday: 9:30a
Friday: 10a

6 Week Intensive - (Full - Session is closed)
Wed & Friday: 9a

Mini-Intensive
I'd also like to throw out the option of a mini-session that would start 1st week of June and last for 3 weeks. Essentially, I am trying to line it up to coincide with the last 3 weeks of school. Tuesday & Thursday are still the days i would be shooting for. We would need 4 persons min to make this happen (6 max).

Please let me know ASAP if there is any interest and I will lock the dates & times down.

Also, stay tuned for more info on Summer Workouts. Many of us may be adjusting our schedules for summer break so I will be polling you all on best days and times to continue our workouts.

This Week & Still Time for Another Intensive

Core Group Session - All Levels
Tuesday: 9:30a
Friday: 10:00a

The current 6 Week Intensive continues on Wednesday & Friday at 9am.

Note: No session on Thursday due to a Mom's Day event at Kellen's (my 4 yr old's) Pre-K.

Another 6 Week Intensive
For those of you who were not able to do the current Intensive, and are still interested in doing one before the school year is over, I'd be happy to set one up. Tuesday and Thursday mornings are best for me. We can shoot for the week of May 17th as a start date. Let me know. Would need 4 people minimum to make it happen (6 max).
