Mom Camp, Schedule & Summer BBQ Recipes

Hello!

Just a few updates for this week:

Mom Camp
-I'm available to do a Mom Camp the week of July 5th with a schedule as follows:
Tues, Thurs, Sat - Core Workout
Wed - Beach Bootcamp
Friday - Run Workout

Cost: $50. Let me know if you are interested. Also note that I am lowering the min for Mom Camp to 4 persons. Would love to spend a week working out with you all. Feel free to email me with any questions.

Schedule this week for Core Group Sessions:
Tues: 9:30a
Thursday: 9a and 10a
Wed & Friday 5:45a (4 min to run sessions)
Saturday: 8a (4 min to run sessions)

Healthy Eating:
With all the BBQ's this summer, I am already getting a bit burned out on burgers and dogs. (ugh!). Found this article on Fitnessmagzine online that has some great ideas for grilling. Enjoy!

Early Morning Sessions and More

Hello!

Hope you all had a wonderful Father's Day. What a beautiful day to celebrate! Here's info on the schedule for this week:

New Early Morning Session:
Last Friday I held a 5:45a Core Group Session and it was great! Track was clear and cool and the workout was done by 7am. If you would like to join me for an early morning session, I will be holding them at the following times at Aviation Track:

Wednesday & Friday 5:45a (Min 4 persons to run) Make sure to email me to reserve a spot.

Regular Group Core Sessions:
Tuesday: 9:30a
Thursday: 2 Sessions 9a & 10a
Saturday: 8a (min 4 persons to run)

We will meet as usual at Aviation Track in Redondo. Make sure to email me to reserve your spot in the session(s) you would like to take this week.

Mom Camp July 12-16 & July 26-30:
Let me know if you are interested in the Mom Camps in July. I am considering changing the schedule to 3 Days of Core Workouts and 2 days of Cardio. Let me know if that would be of more interest to you all. August Mom Camp Dates coming soon!

Barbfit This Week & Start of Summer Sessions

Hello!

Just a quick note to let you all know the schedule for this week and plans for the summer.

Regular Group Sessions:

Thursday & Friday 10am
Saturday 8am (4 person min to run)

6 Week Intensive and 3 Week Intensive continue in their last week at normal times. (Please note these sessions are full and closed)


Summer Sessions:

Schedule:
Starting Week of June 28th, I'll be running Regular Group Sessions on the following days, max # of people in each session is 6, so please email me to reserve a spot:

Tuesdays 9:30a
Thursday 9:30a
Friday 9:30a
Saturday 8:00a (4 person min to run)

I'm available to add more Sessions on Tues, Thursday, Friday after 10:30a and Saturday after 9a. Email me for more info. Location will remain at Aviation Park, but I may need to scope other locations if it gets too crowded at the field with different summer camps running there. Email me any suggestions you have for other locations that would work for us.

Fit in 2-3 Cardio Workouts this week

Hello!

Despite being solo with the kids for the last 72 hours, I got a long run in, and it felt GREAT! On that note, make sure you make time for your cardio workouts. It's an essential part of a holistic fitness routine that will keep you fit and keep you in the habit of regular exercise.

With summer coming and schedules changing, it's important to set up your routine now and stick with it (even on vacation). 2-3 days a week of 30mins to 1hr mins of cardiovascular exercise (example: running, swimming, kick-boxing, cycling) combined with 2-3 days of strength training is a great combo.

Of course, start slow, especially if you are starting from scratch. Try a long walk on the beach or strand. Moreover, get out there now and get a routine going!

This week regular Core Group Sessions are as follows:

Thursday and Friday 10am

Saturday 8am (need a min of 4 people to run this session), please email me to confirm

The 6 Week Intensive and the 3 Week Mini continue as planned. (Note these sessions are full and closed.)
